Steel Mill Cranes
Steel mill cranes work where high temperature, dust and continuous production set the duty. Ladle cranes handle molten metal, billet and slab cranes move product at high cycle counts, and slag and mould cranes work in the dirtiest parts of the plant. Capacity comes from the actual load including the attachment, the work class from the cycle profile, and heat and dust protection from the measured conditions at the crane bridge. Molten metal handling is a separate safety case and the applicable standard requirements are confirmed before design freeze.
