Three numbers start the conversation: capacity, span and lift height. Add your destination port and duty cycle if you have them — the more we know, the faster the quotation.

What to include

Capacity (t), span (m), lift height (m)
Power supply voltage and control preference
Work class / lifting cycles per hour
Destination port and required delivery date

Before you ask

›What information do I need to provide to get a quotation?

Capacity in tonnes, span in metres and lift height in metres are enough to start. Add what you are lifting, cycles per hour, indoor or outdoor conditions, power supply and the destination port, and we can quote a machine rather than an approximation. Site drawings and the available headroom help too.

›How do I choose the right capacity and span?

Capacity comes from the heaviest load including the attachment, not from a nominal figure. Span is measured between the actual runway rails, so it should come from the bay drawing or the site rather than the building drawing. Send both and we will confirm the values that can be built.

›How is the duty class (FEM / ISO) decided?

The class combines the load spectrum with the class of utilisation — how often, how long and how fully loaded the crane works. It is derived from your cycle profile and then confirmed against the standard that applies at your site (FEM 1.001, ISO 4301 or the local equivalent). A catalogue value is not a substitute for that calculation.

›What is the difference between M4, M5 and M7 in the specifications?

They are duty classifications, not quality grades. A higher class means the crane is rated for more cycles, a heavier load spectrum, or both, and the motor, brake, gearbox and structure are selected accordingly. Choosing a light class for continuous production is one of the most common specification errors.
