Box Girder Gantry Crane
5t Box Girder Gantry Crane
A 5 t box girder gantry crane with A-frame legs, travelling on a ground rail for outdoor yards, precast plants, stockyards and truck loading. It needs no runway beams, so it suits storage areas and yards where no building can carry the crane.
The standard series supplies spans from 7.5 m to 22.5 m and lift heights from 4.5 m to 12 m. Because the load goes into the track, the rail gauge, wheel loads and the bearing capacity of the yard surface are part of the specification, and the out-of-service wind case matters if the crane stays outside.
- Confirm at order: span and rail gauge, lift height, wheel loads and the existing track or foundation condition.
- Also agree: wind exposure for an outdoor installation, duty class, travel speeds, control position and the power feed along the track.

All FAQs›Do I need a concrete foundation for the gantry rail?
The rail has to transfer the wheel loads into the ground, so either an existing track with sufficient bearing capacity or a new foundation is needed. Send the wheel loads and the ground or existing track condition, and the foundation becomes part of the quotation rather than a site surprise.
›How is an outdoor gantry crane rated for wind?
The crane is designed to an agreed in-service and out-of-service wind condition for your site, and the anchoring or rail clamp arrangement follows from it. Wind exposure is a design input, so tell us the location and whether the crane stays outside permanently.
