Wall-Mounted Jib Crane
3t Wall-Mounted Jib Crane
A 3 t wall-mounted jib crane for machine shops, workshop bays and mould handling. Hanging from a wall or a column keeps the floor completely clear, which is the reason to choose it over a pillar jib where floor space is at a premium.
Reach is supplied in the range 2 m to 4 m with lift height from 2 m to 6 m. The bracket and tie rod transmit the full overturning moment of the load into the supporting wall or column, so that structure has to be checked before the crane is ordered — this is the item most often left out of a jib crane inquiry.
- Confirm at order: reach, lift height, and the structure that will carry the bracket (wall type, column section or concrete strength).
- Also agree: slew arrangement, control type and power supply.

All FAQs›What has to be checked before ordering a wall-mounted jib crane?
The wall, column or concrete that carries the bracket. It takes the full overturning moment of the load, so its type, section or strength has to be established first. This is the item most often missing from a wall jib inquiry.
›Why is wall jib reach usually shorter than a pillar jib?
The bracket and tie rod have to transfer the load moment into the supporting structure, and that moment grows quickly with reach. A shorter arm keeps the bracket loads and the structure requirements within practical limits.
