Pillar Jib Crane
3t Pillar Jib Crane
A 3 t pillar jib crane for workshop cells, assembly stations and machine tending. It stands on its own foundation and swings around its own column, so it covers a working radius without using the building structure — useful wherever a load has to be moved between a few positions rather than along a bay.
Jib reach is supplied in the range 3 m to 6 m and lift height from 3 m to 6 m. Span is not applicable to a jib crane: the parameter that matters is the reach, together with the slew arrangement and the foundation loading at the base.
- Confirm at order: reach and lift height, the slew arrangement (manual or powered), control type and power supply.
- Also agree: foundation loading at the base and the clear working height under the jib arm.

All FAQs›What foundation does a pillar jib crane need?
The base transmits the full overturning moment of the load plus the crane self-weight into the foundation, so it is sized from the reach and capacity. Give us the reach, lift height and the floor situation, and the foundation loading becomes part of the supply information.
›Reach or lift height — which one matters more?
Reach. A jib crane covers a radius around its column, so the working envelope is set by the arm length. Choose the coverage you need first and then the capacity; the reverse order usually produces an oversized crane.
