Vietnam Galvanizing Line — 10t Crane
10t × 22.5m span, FEM 2M, 3 units

This entry is an anonymized application scenario, not a documented delivery record. Capacities and layout values are indicative.
Application background
Hot-dip galvanizing plants move fabricated steel between degreasing, pickling, fluxing, zinc bath and cooling positions. The handling crane works with racks and jigs, runs frequent cycles at moderate capacity, and operates in an atmosphere where pickling fumes and zinc vapour make corrosion protection part of the specification.
Configuration considerations
A 10 t overhead crane with a single girder design typically covers jig handling in the pre-treatment and finishing sections, with jib cranes used at individual bays for lighter positioning work. Components exposed to fumes are specified with appropriate protection class, and duty selection reflects the rack cycle rate of the line. Where a crane serves the bath area directly, clearances and protection are reviewed against the line layout.
What to confirm before ordering
- Rack and jig weights plus the maximum loaded weight
- Which line sections the crane serves, including bath proximity
- Corrosion protection class for the atmosphere
- Duty class from the line cycle rate
- Jib crane positions for individual work bays
